Information
A series of experimental style frames exploring graphic treatments and look-development designs for a potential motion piece based on the classic Triumph Motorcycles brand. Combining high-end art direction, dynamic typography, and location photography, this design study builds a gritty, retro-futuristic aesthetic around iconic British motoring heritage.
The project incorporates original street photography captured on location in Regent Street, London, utilizing a Canon 6D to build out raw textures, close-up details, and graphic overlays.
Creative Direction & Design Process
The creative direction of this project focuses on a fusion of photographic layers and industrial design elements. By treating each style frame as a material study, the visuals connect digital motion design with mechanical layout.
The production pipeline relies on look-development and structured layout design to establish the visual style. This aesthetic is built by layering distressed textures, high-contrast typography, and technical motorcycle specifications over the location photography. Elements are composed to simulate the depth, motion, and atmospheric weight of a pre-rendered broadcast or title sequence, ensuring the final imagery feels grounded and authentic to the motoring world.
