Information

A series of style frame explorations designed for the ‘To The Stars’ production company opening sequence. The brief required a cinematic theatrical logo animation to play before feature films and media productions, establishing a distinct brand identity in the vein of traditional studio opening sequences.

The creative direction incorporates visual data from real aircraft Heads-Up Displays (HUDs) to build a thematic connection to aviation, navigation, and space exploration.

Creative Direction & Technical Execution

The design pipeline for this project combined 3D look-development with digital 2D post-production. The initial layout, camera angles, and lens elements were built in Cinema 4D, focusing on how light and glass interact with the graphic components. These 3D passes were then brought into Photoshop for final compositing, colour grading, and texture layering.

By utilizing authentic aircraft HUD layouts, the style frames introduce structured telemetry, pitch ladders, and navigational data into the framing. This approach grounds the abstract concept of space and stars within a tangible, technical framework, creating a premium visual identity suitable across various film and television genres.
