A visual exploration of the iconic Technics 1200 MK2 turntable, reimagined as a limited “Glacier SE” edition. The piece focuses on precision modelling and restrained art direction, treating the deck as both industrial object and design artefact.

High-resolution 3D renders were developed as campaign-style key visuals, combining graphic overlays, typographic systems and subtle post-processing to echo the language of heritage hi-fi advertising while maintaining a contemporary, minimal aesthetic.

Graphic UI Systems

The core design language of the project relies on an intersection of 2D vector layouts and 3D environment backgrounds. The graphic overlays draw inspiration from contemporary user interface (UI) architecture and minimalist web design, utilizing clean grids and technical typography.

These 2D elements were carefully configured to interact with the distinct styling of the Technics turntable, matching the layout with the deck’s high-contrast physical controls, tactile buttons, and mechanical geometry to ground the graphics within the overall design layout.
